Diane Mayhew and Ruthie Henshall were both interviewed on Michael Portillo’s show on Times Radio. They were both amazing at getting it all in there and not letting themselves be interrupted – like total pros!! They both made loads of brilliant points and totally smashed it – well done ladies!
It’s a really really interesting discussion, a lot of which focusses on the human rights issue of care home residents being denied right to family life. It’s really well worth a listen – and it certainly shocked Michael Portillo who declared at the end he felt pretty disturbed by all he had learned from the discussion.
