Rights for Residents invite the Care Minister Gillian Keegan to meet relatives of those still denied visits

Feb 7, 2022 | News

Jenny and Diane – Co Founders of Rights For Residents – have written to the Care Minister Gillian Keegan, inviting her to come to the House of Commons on 9th March to meet MPs and relatives of those living in care that remain subject to harsh and unnecessary visiting restrictions.

The letter was co-signed by Helen Wildbore, Director of the Relatives & Residents Association and Julia Jones and Nicci Gerrard of John’s Campaign, who also continue to lobby for an end to isolation in care. The letter and invite were highlighted in a powerful article by Giles Sheldrick in today’s Daily Express and we await the Minister’s response.
